Chandigarh 22 June:  Chandigarh Literary Society (CLS) is organizing a workshop on creative writing  for children on Friday, 24^th June at Gurukul Global School

Celebrated authors Chandra Shekhar Verma and Sonika Sethi shall be conducting this one-day workshop to learn the fundamentals of creative writing in English and Hindi, informed CLS Chairperson Dr Sumita Misra..

Chandra Shekhar Verma is a behavioural scientist, motivational speaker, and a Hindi poet from Lucknow. Carrying on the legacy of his illustrious grandfather Padma Bhushan Shri Bhagwati Charan Verma and his father Shri Dhirendra Varma who is a well-known Hindi author.   He is conducted similar writing workshops for children and had done in Chandigarh for CLS several years back,

Dr Sonika Sethi is a prolific writer and columnist with interest in post-colonial literature and historical fiction and is an Assistant Professor of literature and linguistics at SD College, Ambala Cantt. And conducts creative writing workshops for children.

The workshop is open for children of Class 7^th to 12^th from 11am to 4pm with a registration fee of Rs.900 including lunch, and one can register for the workshop by calling 6284552070
