Connect Broadband joins the vaccination drive

Mohali, 23 April: Joining the government's efforts to vaccinate adults, the wireline broadband service provider, Connect Broadband, got its employees vaccinated.

A camp was organized on 20^th and 22^nd April in association with the Punjab Health department in Connect's campus in Industrial Area Phase 7, and 167  employees were administered the Covid Shield vaccination.

With growing dependence on broadband services, Connect is ensuring the safety of their staff and customers against the Covid spread.

Chandigarh Literary Society / Poetry Competition

 CLS Poetry Competition announced

April 10:  Chandigarh Literary Society (CLS) invites young and established poets to submit their poetic creations for an annual poetry writing competition.

There is a poet in everyone, says CLS Chairperson Dr Sumita Misra, IAS, and our every competition brings in an overwhelming response from our people.

One can submit the poem in any language, i.e. English, Hindi, Urdu or Punjabi on three topics that have been announced this year, namely "Love in the Times of Corona", "Journeys to the Self", and "Time Travel".

Author and motivational spaker Vivek Atray said that The CLS Poetry Competition has come to be recognized as one of the most awaited creative contests of the year!

Participants can submit a maximum of one poem in each of the categories.

There is no bar or location restrictions, and entry to the competition is free.  The last date for entry is 30^th April 2021 which can be sent by email to clsshortstory@gmail.com.

The results would be announced soon.

सीएलएस की वार्षिक कविता प्रतियोगिता

10 अप्रैल: चंडीगढ़ लिटरेरी सोसाइटी (सीएलएस) ने युवा और स्थापित कवियों को वार्षिक काव्य लेखन प्रतियोगिता के लिए अपनी काव्य रचनाएँ प्रस्तुत करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया है ।

सीएलएस चेयरपर्सन डॉ। सुमिता मिश्रा, आईएएस, ने कहा कि प्र्तेक व्यक्ति में एक कवी छुपा होता  है, और हर बार हमारे इस वार्षिक प्रतियोगता में  हर बार कई नई प्रतिभाएं उभर कर आती हैं।  

उन्हों ने बताया कि इस प्रतियोगिता के लिए कविता हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, पंजाबी व् उर्दू में भेजी जा सकती हैऔर हर प्रतियोगी केवल एक कविता, तीनों विषयों पर भेज सकता है, और इस बार के तीन विषय हैं , "लव इन द टाइम्स ऑफ कोरोना", "जर्नी टू द सेल्फ", और "टाइम ट्रैवल"।

लेखक और मोटिवेशनल वक्ता विवेक अत्रय ने कहा कि कोई भी वयक्ति , किसी भी उम्र का हो और कहीं भी रह रहा हो, इस प्रतियोगिता में निशुल्क भाग ले सकता है और ईमेल द्वारा अपनी रचनाएँ ३० अप्रैल २०२१ से तक  clsshortstory@gmail.com पर भेज सकता है।
