Nanhi Jaan gifts protective gear to Blood Bank
15 May 2020: For the safety and protection of the staff of Rotary Blood Bank Society and Resource Centre, Sector 37, Nanhi Jaan volunteers provided protective gears and other equipment here today, informed Director Dr Manish Rai.
Nanhi Jaan which is a flagship project of Veeranwali Foundation was represented by Desh Deepak Khanna, Alpana Khanna, Gaurav Bansal, Ashok Seth who presented 50 reusable PPE suits, autoclaveable washable gowns, 50 litres of sanitisers, face shields, reusable caps,face masks and infrared thermometers to the Blood Centre.
M L Sarin President of the Blood Bank Society and Niti Sarin, Secretary of Rotary Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, were also present on the occasion.
Before leaving two members of Nanhi Jaan, Gaurav Bansal and Ashok Seth also donated blood.
Surinder Pal Kaur, President Rotary Club of Chandigarh expressed deepest gratitude to the team of Nanhi Jaan for their generous support.
