Chandigarh Kendra bags third position in Bhavans' Bhajan Competition

andigarh, 6th Sept 2019: Commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan had organised a National Bhajan Singing Competition on the 30th and 31st of August at its Delhi Kendra. Over 25 schools, under the aegis of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, from across the country participated in this unique event.
A team of four students represented Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh Kendra at the event – Moiraa XII C2, Tamanna XA, Abhishek XB and Vedant Zade of IXB. The quartet bagged the third place for their mellifluous rendition of the famous bhajan 'Mat kar moh tu Hari bhajan ko maan re'.
Senior Principal Ms. Vineeta Arora congratulated the team for their award winning performance during the morning assembly and encouraged students to pursue their passions in music and arts ensuring development in all spheres.
