Turn Your Kids Cyber Smart to Keep them Safe and Secure

Connect Broadband organizes Cyber Safety workshop in Sacred Heart School  at Kapurthala today.

Teenagers need to be aware of the usage of internet on their mobile and computers though even the infants are becoming technology savy, said Ashok Rana, Principal of Sacred Heart Public School.

Today this is a full time responsibility of the parents and the teachers to protect children against cyber crimes, frauds, and even dangerous challenge games.

That is the reason the School organized a cyber safety workshop and quiz with Connect Broadband under its CSR initiative NetChamps.

Sunil Sahota and Gurnoor Singh of Class 9th were declared NetChamps during the programme who would later participate in the city-wide and later the finals of the 2nd edition of this competition.

Looking at the sharp penetration of mobile phones, Connect initiated this campaign to educate every child, teacher and parent, to keep children safe and secure against the pitfalls of internet.

Connect has already covered 39 schools this year under NetChamps 2 programme sensitizing over 10,000 children in Punjab and Chandigarh.
